Ahh the woodpecker... nature's little jackhammer. I always thought it was great how they figured out..."Hey, instead of spending all day looking for sticks and other random debris to build a nest, that could easily blow away in the wind or get raided by a squirrel... why don't I just bash my face into this log a few thousand times and hollow out an impenetrable fortress?"
